We stayed here with my sister and brother-in-law May 20 to May 23, 2025. It was an awesome experience. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed, the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and the location is superb for touring the WW2 historical sites. There are two restaurants, one a more traditional set-up with a formal feel ( although the head waiter Françoise certainly knows how to lighten the mood) and the other informal place out by the pool with a wonderfully friendly staff and great food. The meals were excellent, including the breakfasts. They have a nice bar and the front desk staff is very welcoming. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to return.

My husband and I had a beautiful lunch... Cocktails, wine, fixed price lunch (with upcharge for a Very delicious Lobster roll- I highly recommend!!!). But surprisingly, we were charged 5 euro for a free carafe of water. I think that it is against the law, especially since we ordered other drinks. It is not normal...

So glad we stopped for a night here. The chateau has a rich history and is set in beautiful grounds.
Very much a small boutique 5 star hotel. We had a dog friendly room in the main house and we were all well looked after.
The Botanist restaurant had excellent quality 1 star Michelin dishes and friendly service.
We did not manage to use the pool but it looked lovely!
Highly recommend staying here to visit the local war beaches.
